Weekend Recap

Weekends are definitely my favorite! I get to recharge, clean/organize the house, watch football and spend time with my amazing family :)

My dad and I had plans to stand in line Saturday morning for a KBCO Studio C CD. It’s a yearly CD KBCO (station 97.3 FM) puts out and all of the profits go to AIDS research. They start selling CD’s at 8am, but they only put out so many. We were second in line arriving at 1:30am. As crazy as it sounds, we had a blast :)

Around 6am there were a ton of people in line! KCBO was awesome and provided us with scrumptious bagels and coffee from Einstein Bros Bagels.

After we purchased our CD’s, and a t-shirt for me, we headed out to visit the newest addition to our family :) My dad is adopting this sweet little angel in a few weeks. She’s such a tiny little fur ball of cuddlyness!

My dad got a call this morning to let him know that she got her first shots and is very healthy. Her eyes just opened up too! We can’t wait to go see her again in a few days.

The rest of Saturday consisted of a tiny nap followed by supper with the hubby! I always get on strange eating schedules when my sleep schedule gets off so I wasn’t super hungry. There was a very tempting chocolate cupcake on the menu that I gave into! (I ended up eating a real supper when we got home)

So good!

After supper, we headed to the game store where I bought Zumba Core for Kinect. I have always wanted to try Zumba, but I have absolutely no rhythm. Being able to do it alone, instead of in a class, sounds better for now :)

After 12 glorious hours of sleep Saturday night, Jason and I took Champ for a long morning walk. It was cold, but felt nice to Champ and me :)

After another nap (I need a ridiculous amount of sleep) we did the usual cleaning/grocery shopping for the week, followed by watching Denver clinch the AFC West with my dad!! So excited for the playoffs!!
